New 27-inch iMacs in stock at Medford store

Apple iMac 27-inch slim side viewAt last, the drought is over – at least temporarily.

Our Medford store just received a pallet of 27-inch iMacs. Yes, these are the ever-elusive new slimline models. They are not quite “stock” iMacs, the main difference being they come with a full-sized, wired Apple extended keyboard (with full-sized function keys and a numeric keypad) in place of the usual Apple Wireless Keyboard.

SPECIFICATIONS

  • 3.2GHz Intel Core i5 quad core processor
  • 27-inch widescreen IPS display (2560 x 1440 pixels native resolution)
  • 8GB DDR3  SDRAM
  • One terabyte SATA hard drive (7200 RPM)
  • NVIDIA GeForce GTX 675MX graphics with 1GB dedicated GDDR5 video memory
  • Apple Magic Mouse (wireless)
  • Apple Keyboard with Numeric Keypad (wired)

We’ve filled our customer backorders – many of them dating back to October – and still have over a dozen of these iMacs in stock. We expect they won’t be around long, so if you have been looking for one, please let us know.

CORRECTION: When this description was originally posted, it incorrectly identified the processor as an Intel Core i7, instead of a Core i5. We apologize for the error.

Deal of the Week | Jan. 25th, 2013: 7-Port Powered USB 2.0 Hub for $11.99

Deal of the Week USB 7-port hub

There’s an ancient maxim that says you can never be too rich, too thin, or have too many USB ports.

Fumbling behind your computer, bumping your head on the underside of your desk, swapping cables and devices – all of this goes away with the addition of this week’s DOTW: a sleek, futuristic-looking seven-port USB hub. Such a simple, elegant solution, at a such a trifling price: a mere $11.99. (it normally sells for $29.99.)

Read all about it here.
