Price Matching
Connecting Point works hard to keep our prices as low as possible. We constantly shop our competition to make sure you’re getting a fair price.

If you value a competitive price, and value lifetime up-and-running technical support, and like the idea of keeping your hard-earned dollars here in our community, then Connecting Point is your kind of computer store. Your locally-owned, independently-operated computer store.

Bottom line: In the unlikely event you find a lower price elsewhere, please let us know. We’ll try our level best to meet or beat it.

Returns and Refunds
If you are dissatisfied with a product, in most cases you may return it within seven (7) days of purchase for a full credit, replacement or refund. Products must be complete, in like-new condition, with all packaging, accessories and the original sales receipt (no marked manuals or registration cards). There is a charge for missing or damaged items, so please be sure to keep all boxes, manuals, and packaging materials in pristine condition. Installation, removal, and delivery charges are non-refundable.

Exceptions

iPods, iPads, and iPhones
Sorry, we are not able to accept returns of these items. Because of the registration process that forever “weds” an iOS device (iPod, iPad, or iPhone) to an Apple ID, we are unable to accept returns on these items. The exception: If it is still unopened and unused, and remains a current model, we can take it back within seven days of purchase.

Printers and All-in-Ones
Printer and multifunction returns are subject to a replacement charge for consumables (ribbons, ink cartridges, printhead assemblies, or toner cartridges), if these items have been opened.

Notebooks, Netbooks, Handheld Computers, Digital Cameras, Digital Video Recording Devices, and all Apple computers
For us to keep our prices low for everyone, we must charge a 15% restocking fee for returns of these items.

Software
We will gladly refund the full purchase price on any unopened software within the seven day return period. Due to software licensing and vendor policy, we cannot accept returns of opened software. Prior to opening a software package, please read the box carefully for system requirements, version numbers, program capabilities and limitations, etc. You are responsible for determining whether this product will meet your needs, and whether it will work properly on your particular system. If there are any doubts, please contact us before opening the package.

Connecting Point will replace defective media within seven days for the same title. After seven days, we will help work with you and the publisher to exchange defective media and/or acquire an upgrade. Replacements and upgrades are not always free. Charges are determined by the software publisher.

Special Orders
Specially-ordered, non-stocking items are not returnable. We will work with you and the manufacturer to repair or replace defective (D.O.A.) products.

Other
Refunds or credits are not available on internal components (such as memory, modems, microprocessors, etc.), opened consumables (ink cartridges, toner cartridges, etc.) and close-out or clearance items.

Receiving Your Refund
If you choose to receive a refund, and you paid by cash or check, your refund will be in the form of a company check. If you paid with a credit card, your refund will be credited to that same card (allow up to 14 days for the credit to appear on your account). Refunds for purchases originally paid for by check will be mailed two business days after the merchandise is returned and the original check clears the bank. For other payment types, refunds are mailed two business days after merchandise is returned.
