  1. We have an older mac about 7-8 years old! Can we use the mini to upgrade that computer? OR do we need to buy a full computer?
    thanks

    • Elle, it depends on what kind of Mac it is. If it’s an iMac, there’s no good way to use its display with a Mac mini. But if it’s a Mac Pro or G4 or G5 – a model where the CPU and display are separate, in other words – you can use its monitor, keyboard, and mouse with a new Mac mini.
