VIDEO: Three new videos debut in support of nascent Apple Music service

Apple has released three new commercials in support of its recently launched Apple Music service. The overarching theme of the ads is the tagline “All the artists you love and are about to love, all in one place.”

One 30-second spot shines a spotlight on Norwegian DJ/producer Kygo:

Another 30-second video showcases popular British singer/songwriter James Bay:

The last ad, entitled ‘Discovery,’ is a full minute long. Rather than concentrating on a single artist, it offers several, including Bay, Kygo, Leon Bridges, and Flo Morrissey. Nine Inch Nails mastermind Trent Reznor serves as its narrator:

This minute-and-a-half video kicks off ‘Change Everything,’ a new marketing direction for Apple. It ties in with a new website of the same name, featuring individual spots and pages that explore in greater detail the themes and directions mentioned in the video above: cooking, learning, small business, travel, and redecorating.

VIDEO: Upbeat new Apple spot shows how much people love their MacBook Airs

As the popularity of MacBook Air continues to grow, so do the many ways users customize these ultralight notebooks. ‘Stickers,’ a brand-new spot from Apple, showcases the creativity of these folks. Fun stuff (and if you watch carefully, you’ll spot at least two references to recent Apple acquisition Beats Audio).

Rockin’ new Apple iPhone 5s TV spot ‘Powerful,’ featuring cover of Pixies’ ‘Gigantic’

Tagline: “You’re more powerful than you think.”

We don’t know about you, but we can’t get the song out of our heads – total earworm material. As a bonus, here are its originators, the Pixies, in a live performance recorded in London in 1988:

The quality of the recording is far from great (it’s a VHS transfer), but the content is pure gold…

Connecting Point introduced the Apple IIc to a lot of folks, back in the day. Its iconic design was innovative for the time, and doesn’t receive a lot of recognition these days.
