When your audio/video signal absolutely positively has to make it from one piece of equipment to another, then reach for one of these high-quality HDMI cables.
It’s 10 feet long, so it’s going to reach. It has dual ferrites (one at each end) to ensure signal quality without interference. It’s black, so it’ll go with anything.
And it’s cheap. Like, way cheap.
High-quality HDMI cables like these typically retail for 30 to 40 bucks. Our everyday low price is 20 bucks. But for this week’s DOTW, we’re slashing and slicing and compressing your price to a fairly ridiculous $3.99.

Happy Mother’s Day, everyone! Here’s a warmhearted short, shot entirely on Google Glass. It was created by alumni and students from the University of Southern California’s School of Cinematic Arts, as part of the Google Creative Collective. (Mashable has a nice article on how it was made here.)
We don’t know about you, but we can’t get the song out of our heads – total earworm material. As a bonus, here are its originators, the Pixies, in a live performance recorded in London in 1988:
These colorful, great-sounding earbuds are a bargain at their usual $4.99 price.
But 99 cents? That’s ridiculously cheap.
Buy one for the car, one for the gym bag, one for the personal ‘copter, one for the tanning bed, and one for your isolated and creepy cabin in the woods – and you’ll still get five pennies back from a five dollar bill.

It’s an elusive beast, but we’ve finally managed to capture one.
Mac Pro on display in Medford
We refer, of course, to Apple’s most powerful desktop system, the Mac Pro. It is a completely re-imagined workstation-class Mac, designed from the ground up for the most demanding applications. If you are editing video, rendering 3D models, or working with gigantic Photoshop files, this is the computer for you.
This particular version features a quad-core Xeon processor, 12GB of memory, and 256GB of ultra-fast flash storage. And even though it’s just under 10 inches tall, the expansion options are incredible. With its six Thunderbolt 2 ports and dual AMD FirePro D300 graphics processors, you can drive an array of three 4K displays, or six Apple Thunderbolt displays.
Mac Pro on display in Bend
The unusual cylindrical design of the new Mac Pro has been a polarizing one. We think it’s beautiful, a triumphant wedding of industrial design and art. What do you think of its surprisingly compact, shiny minimalist blackness?
We’ve got it on display right now in both our Medford and Bend stores. We invite you to stop in and unleash this beautiful beast.
It’s a nationwide problem, but we’ve recently seen a lot more activity targeting local residents. In this scam, telephone solicitors claiming to be from Microsoft technical support direct you to a web address, then prompt you to download malware to your computer. Once installed, your computer surrenders to their control. Chaos ensues.
Medford Service Manager Jason Kellogg
Yesterday, Medford Service Manager Jason Kellogg was interviewed by Medford CBS affiliate KTVL about the problem – and how to avoid it.
Be alert. Be aware. And bear in mind Microsoft will never telephone you to warn of an issue with your computer.
You already own one of the finest mobile devices in the world. (And if you don’t, we can help with that.) Why not dress and protect it in the case it deserves?
