Excellent news for businesses: President Obama approved the extension of Section 179 to 2013 levels (as part of a larger tax extensions bill).
So what does that mean? Just this: Business owners will be able to deduct up to $500,000 worth of qualifying equipment and property* that were bought (or financed) and put to use in their business during 2014. That means you still have time to purchase new (or pre-owned) Macs, PCs, printers, all-in-ones, or iOS devices from Connecting Point and receive this deduction. But don’t delay: the deadline is December 31st (and please remember we’ll be closing at 5pm on that day).
