The Southern Oregon Best of the Best 2017 Reader’s Choice competition has ended, and Connecting Point scored a big win! After the Mail Tribune newspaper folks tallied the results from a record 7,200+ individual voters, it was revealed that Connecting Point SERVICE has taken First Place in the Computer Services category.

At right, Service Manager Jason Kellogg and General Manager Jeff Thomas display the plaque we were awarded. Kudos to them, and to the great team of technicians doing fine work in our Service Department. And many thanks to the thousands who voted for us – you’ve given us a lot to live up to! We will do everything we can to maintain the high level of service that won us the award.

A serious flaw in the Wi-Fi standard has left millions of networks, computers, and devices vulnerable to potentially devastating attacks. Once infiltrated, the so-called KRACK exploit allows hackers to monitor all traffic you send over your Wi-Fi network. That includes private information like passwords, login info, as well as social security and credit card numbers.

Technically, this clever little gadget is (inexplicably) called “Ringo’s Belly Button,” but don’t hold that against it. Instead, focus on what a clever solution it is for mounting your smartphone right where you need it most: on your dashboard, above the kitchen counter, at your desk, or over your workbench. Installation is easy as pie. First, peel off one side of the 3M adhesive foam disk and apply it to the back of the base.
