For peace of mind, extended service protection can’t be beat. Apple® systems and most peripherals come with a one year limited parts/labor warranty, along with 90 days of toll-free technical support from Apple. AppleCare extends both the original 90-day support warranty and the one year parts and labor warranty to three years (two years for iOS® devices and Apple TV®).
AppleCare™ allows hardware repairs on eligible machines by Apple Authorized Service Providers anywhere in the world. If you purchased a qualifying AirPort® Extreme, AirPort Express, Time Capsule®, or AirPort Card with your computer, these devices also qualify for service under the computer’s AppleCare Protection Plan.
AppleCare Protection Plan is also available for iPod®, iPhone®, and iPad® products. This service extends the original warranty out two years from original date of purchase, and allows for unlimited phone support, compared to the single-incident support offered under the original warranty.
Extended Service Protection on non-Apple computers and peripherals
For non-Apple systems, we recommend ComputerCare. ComputerCare extends the original manufacturer warranty from one year to two, three, four, or even five years. Prices depend on the purchase price of the equipment, but are easily the most competitive and affordable in the industry.
